Piotr Szmilewski is the founder of Masovia and the team leader. Piotr has over 16 years of experience in the field of finance and commercial property market. His specialty is investment consultancy, structuring of debt financing, and obtaining of equity for companies and projects.
Piotr’s involvement in projects and transactions with a total value exceeding PLN 2.5 bln allowed him to gain experience crucial for advising in investment processes.
In 2003-2004 Piotr worked as a finance and property advisor for corporate entities. As of 2005 he worked for Cushman & Wakefield where he was responsible for market analysis and research, including highest & best use analyses, and later for financial analyses, negotiations with corporate clients and development consulting. In 2009 Piotr joined the Capital Markets department as a senior consultant, where he was involved in a number of transactions involving acquisition and sale of large commercial projects, organisation of joint-venture projects, support to clients in the process of refinancing and obtaining capital for investment projects. In 2013 Piotr was promoted to an Associate. As of 2014 Piotr is a member of the management board of Pro Value consulting company.
Piotr is a graduate of the Faculty of Quantitive Methods and Information Systems and the Faculty of Management and Marketing at Warsaw School of Economics. He is also a post-graduate of “Property Appraisal & Management” at Sheffield Hallam University. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) title awarded to him in 2012.
